Can I buy this as a surprise?+
Yes. Most customers create the journey themselves using their veteran’s service history — duty stations, deployment dates, and units. The veteran receives the finished video as a gift; they don’t need to be involved in the creation process.
How long does it take?+
You can enter a service record in about five minutes. The cinematic video renders within a few minutes of purchase. You’ll receive an email with a shareable link and download buttons for all three formats (vertical, square, landscape).
What if I don’t remember every duty station?+
Two postings is all you need. Many customers start with what they remember — basic training, first duty station, a memorable deployment — and the video still looks incredible. You can always create an updated version later.
Is my data secure?+
All journey records are encrypted at rest using AES-256. We don’t store unencrypted personal data. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@veteranwaypoints.com. Full details in our privacy policy.
Can it be played at a funeral or memorial?+
Yes. The landscape (16:9) format is designed for large screens. Families have played the video at memorial services, retirement ceremonies, and VFW events.
